About David Rinck:

Born very young in a world that is very old, I first started programming by writing text adventure games in the computer lab while my mom was getting her Ph.D.

I had the opportunity to study Mechatronics and Optimal Control Theory with Dr. Longman at Columbia University. These days, optimal control theory has the sexier title of Reinforcement Learning, and projects like AlphaGo have brought it forward.

After leaving school, I wrote C++ and Python for medical devices, pharmaceutical research, and power optimization. From there I moved into C# and Angular for the web with a focus on data visualization.
